The Group of Seven painted all over Ontario and in other parts of Canada. A.Y. Jackson, for example, painted in Quebec. Recent ON Parks info appears on this website highlighting some of the other Ontario Parks where the group painted as well as Canoe Lake, where Thomson painted and later disappeared in 1917.

I would agree that Canada is really a great country in a beautiful setting. I would especially vote for the Old Quebec City. I love it’s unique french like architecture. It’s like Paris of North America! Although, i would suggest the adding the stunning fishing village of Peggy’s Cove.

I would add Algonquin Park in Ontario as well. If you’ve seen paintings by the famous Canadian Group of Seven or by Tom Thomson, then you’ve probably seen Algonquin Park before. But to see it in person is wonderful!
